  36. I want to purchase a CAD program for my 1040ST
  37. to help me design some woodworking projects.
  38.  
  39. I would like to stay close to $100, so I think
  40. Dyna-Cadd should stay out of the dicussion.
  41.  
  42. I have read various reviews about Beta-Cad, Cad-3d,
  43. and Drafix, but haven't found any Chicagoland ST dealers
  44. that have any demo packages to look at.
  45.  
  46. Any words of advice/warning from ST CAD users?
  47. Anyone use their ST for woodworking design?

  78. I think CAD-3D (if this is the one by Antic) would be out, it is not really
  79. designed for technical drawings (measurements and stuff).  I have read good
  80. reviews on Beta-CAD, and it is cheap.

  102.         Another Gemini problem:  none of my TOS/TTP executables seem to output
  103.         their information into the console window.  They all run as normal,
  104.         royally messing up the screen as it scroles apparantly without the
  105.         Shell knowing of it.  Anyone have this problem?

  154.   It seems that this is the problem, and I have given up, in the process
  155. deleteing all copies of Format 11 (I found the originals, and the doc's say
  156. that the writer won't be held responsible (I have no problem with this) and
  157. that is about all.  No info on what it does to your disk).

  200. It has been hacked.  I've mailed out several dozen copies of a version
  201. that decodes as many files as you want (in fact, I routinely decode all
  202. of the ST and PC files I pull of the net with a single command).  I'll
  203. send a copy to Steven, although since I asm not the author of the
  204. original, I really don't feel in a position to make a formal submission.

  226. This sounds like the trap handlers I posted a while back.
  227.  
  228. The "fix" I posted was a rewrite of the Bios and Xbios trap handlers
  229. for use with Sozobon C.  The specific use in my case was so I could call
  230. Setscreen from a process termination handler, so that the screen would get
  231. put back to normal regardless of how the program terminated (i.e., even
  232. if an exception occurred).
  233.  
  234. I posted a GEMDOS trap handler too, but that was an unfortunate oversight
  235. since (as several people pointed out) you can't call the GEMDOS from a
  236. process termination handler.
  237.  
  238. In other words, the trap handlers were mostly a fix to Sozobon, not an
  239. attempt to make the GEMDOS more reentrant.
